ABOUT Erin
What brought me to ID? After 15 years as an innovative and accomplished learning developer, my small family and I embraced a new adventure in farm life. We packed up our life in the city and moved to rural New Jersey. Always striving for growth, I remained committed to my lifelong journey of learning, honing my skills in website development, digital photography, design, blogging, SEO, social media marketing, project management, client collaboration, and instructional design.
In my role as an instructional designer, I cultivated my ability to create engaging learning experiences for diverse learners, frequently utilizing data and feedback to enhance and refine my methods. My empathetic nature enables me to understand others' perspectives, providing me with a distinct advantage as an instructional designer. This openness allows me to anticipate individuals' needs and craft learning experiences that inspire and support their growth.
Why should you hire me? I am a highly motivated and collaborative team player dedicated to empowering others and finding fulfillment in supporting learners' growth. I possess a natural talent for breaking down complex concepts into easily digestible learning segments, utilizing learning theories, compassion, and a diverse array of tools to facilitate understanding. I bring a commitment to hard work and excellence that is rooted in my strong character and professional experience.
On a personal note... I love to volunteer in my community and have been a youth girls’ lacrosse, basketball, soccer, and field hockey coach. I also stepped into a leadership position in our local girls' lacrosse program and wrote the training manual for our incoming coaches, created performance support documents, and built an online reference guide as part of my recruiting and onboarding efforts. I take great pride in passing on both athletic skills and leadership qualities to a new generation of girls and young women. I also enjoy cooking, photography, and hiking with my pup, Reggie.
